What a wonderful cool day today! For Tete this is incredible! It actually puts a spring in our step and energy arrives out of nowhere! This pic of baobabs was taken on a HOT day, and just looking at it makes me break out in a sweat!

A fire has just gone through this piece of bush, enhancing the beautiful hues of the baobab! May the "fires that we pass through in life" enhance us too!

Seeing I snapped so many shots of the Boroma mission, I will continue sharing a pic a day from that amazing place. Took this through a broken stained glass window, showing the one on the other side...... I wonder if that old dusty chandelier is brass, and imagine how incredible it would look after a good polish!

I never tire of visiting Boroma mission on the banks of the Zambezi and about 30 km from Tete. Founded in the mid 1880's by Jesuit missionaries. Sad to say that with every visit, I see a huge deterioration.

Now I am back in a slightly more "civilized" country....... far away from the wide open spaces and exciting daily adventures, but I can hope I can continue to show you the beauty from this very populated little Island, Mauritius, just a speck in the Indian Ocean....
