Pao (short for Paozinho) is available early every morning on the side of the road, in the marketplace, in just about any village no matter how remote throughout Mozambique. They are made by local village bakers in the simplest manner in wood (or coconut husks by the sea) fired ovens like this..... they are delicious but must be eaten the same day....

The brilliant red just catches your eye in the lowveld bush fast turning dry..........

It was so worth this view by taking the "long way round"......... Zambezi river, Sofala province, Mozambique...

Amazingly this tree stands alone with the gorgeous Victoria Falls as its backdrop.........

I have taken a very similar photograph along the banks of the Zambezi in Tete. This is the same mighty river but in Zimbabwe close to Victoria Falls....

Loved my time in the most gorgeous Victoria Falls.......... our country is still reeling from the shock of the election results! Zimbabwe really needs your prayers.......
