"Snap, crackle and pop.... The sound of spring in Zimbabwe.... Msasa trees pods popping... May this spring bring a change in Zimbabwe!

Oh what memories eating these wild mushrooms evoke..... Longing for the gentler years whilst farming in the South East districts of Zimbabwe..... The start of the rains, Christmas, land preparation and friends and family get togethers....... Thank you for those years Lord, they were good......

In the shadow of the amazing Victoria Falls Bridge.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_Falls_Bridge

Amazingly this tree stands alone with the gorgeous Victoria Falls as its backdrop.........

I have taken a very similar photograph along the banks of the Zambezi in Tete. This is the same mighty river but in Zimbabwe close to Victoria Falls....

Loved my time in the most gorgeous Victoria Falls.......... our country is still reeling from the shock of the election results! Zimbabwe really needs your prayers.......
