I have been asked to landscape a garden and seeing there are no plant nurseries around Tete you have to use your imagination! I went scouring the bush yesterday and found some amazing treasures, now off to find, logs, dugouts, stampers and rocks......May you all find something creative to do today, it uplifts ones soul.......

I took a double take whilst driving in the thick green bush around Tete today, I thought this seed pod was a snake, pretty close to my open window....The tree is a "cassia abbreviata" (in S.A. called a Sjambok pod tree and in Zimbabwe, a Long-tail cassia). Click on the link attached to find out more about this lovely looking tree.

We can only do one day at a time. It has been said that those with regrets are living in the past, those with anxiety are living in the future, and that peace is the hallmark of those in the present. Center yourself into today. Right here. Right now. What is around you at this moment? Who is nearby? How are you feeling right this minute? Relax, center, breath deep, and give thanks. One day at a time brings delight and strength and resilience. We really can’t afford any other way. (Cyndy Lavoei)

Now I am back in a slightly more "civilized" country....... far away from the wide open spaces and exciting daily adventures, but I can hope I can continue to show you the beauty from this very populated little Island, Mauritius, just a speck in the Indian Ocean....
