This smiling bunch of children don't have such a great life! Their parents sit breaking rocks all day to make gravel, which is much in demand for this growing city of Tete.

Tete has a Chinese Restaraunt! Interesting and tasty! Leg of goat Chinese style, tofu and screw, delicious deep fried prawns and goat dumplings!

"Hope is contagious. Hope is like yeast and baking powder. It has an energy that makes things rise. If you want to know if you are good for others, ask yourself how much hope you've given them. It is there you will find your answer." "Seasons of your heart"

with a little "creative imagination" this could be a scene in Jamaica! Instead of beans and firewood being sold, it could be pineapples and coconuts! Instead of the dirty potholed road, it could be the silently lapping turquoise sea! Yes, imagination is what helps us to survive in Tete, Mozambique

Don't ask! Have no idea why this "pony" was put at the entrance to a shop, maybe to draw customers! If you live in Tete, one does wonder these things!
